Elisabetta Lazzaro is a cultural economist and Professor of Creative and Cultural Industries Management at the Business School for the Creative Industries and Head of the interdisciplinary Arts & Creative Ecosystems cluster (ACEs) at the University for the Creative Arts, UK. Elisabetta has a track record of more than 80 publications in international peer- reviewed journals, books and policy reports, on economics, business and policy of the arts, cultural heritage, creative industries and applied digital technologies, arts markets, sustainable artistic crafts and design, cultural participation, entrepreneurship, sustainable business models and financing, and crowdfunding of arts and creative professionals and organisations. She has served in several national and international scientific agencies and industry and government boards specialised in the cultural and creative sectors. Elisabetta holds a double PhD in economics from Paris I-Sorbonne and Free University of Brussels.
