Jill Griffiths is Professor of Digital Arts and Creative Industries, Principal Fellow of Advance HE and Head of the School of Digital Arts, SODA, at Manchester Metropolitan University. The school consists o 2,000 students across a diverse portfolio of disciplines all firmly positioned within creative industries and Createch, working at the intersection of creativity and cutting-edge technology, with priorities including AI and XR. As an educational leader, Jill works at civic and policy levels contributing to shaping the future of the sector, cultivating partnerships to address talent gaps, improve graduate outcomes and nurture industry-informed creative education. Jill also leads Manchester Met’s work on the UNESCO City of Lifelong Learning initiative in collaboration with Manchester City Council.
