About the Research Project

This is the first time data about creative businesses is being collected on this scale, creating a groundbreaking evidence base to inform decisions for business leaders and policy makers. Its holistic coverage has the potential to unite the creative industries to drive economic growth in the sector.

The survey includes a cutting-edge examination of the use of emerging technologies. This data will support businesses to adopt digital innovations that enhance their competitiveness, foster diverse and inclusive workforces, and drive profitability and sustainability.

Data collection for the first wave of the study begins on 17 February 2025. Selected businesses will receive an invitation to participate from independent research organisation Verian. Random sampling will ensure all sub-sectors are equitably represented throughout the research, which runs until 2028. The first wave report will be published later in 2025.

Completing the survey

If you have been invited to take part in the survey please visit the Verian participation website on the email or letter you have been sent.
