Manager, Film Hub Scotland
Ilia is the Manager of Film Hub Scotland, a membership organisation dedicated to supporting Scotland-based film exhibitors. Distributing funding by Screen Scotland and the BFI via the National Lottery, Film Hub Scotland provides capacity-building, consultancy, advocacy, and grants to Scottish festivals, cinemas, community organisations, and multi-arts venues. Prior to his work with FHS, Ilia was the Co-Founder and Manager of Samizdat Eastern European Film Festival, where he specialised in Central Asian cinema, and an academic researcher of film theory.
