Rebecca Swarray is Principal for Creative Industries at the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, where she leads creative industry and cultural policy, strategic partnerships, and regional and international programmes. Her work is rooted in a deep understanding of local government and the cultural and creative ecosystem of Greater Manchester and beyond.
Alongside her policy leadership, Rebecca is an internationally recognised DJ, curator, and producer, performing under the name Mix-Stress. She is also the founder of RebeccaNeverBecky, an arts and events platform dedicated to supporting and amplifying marginalised creatives and artists. Through this work, she bridges grassroots creativity with strategic policy, championing inclusive cultural development that connects communities and strengthens the creative industries.
