Dr Jen Ballie is Head of Design Research at V&A Dundee and a Reader in Design at DJCAD, University of Dundee. She leads V&A Dundee’s design research programme, Design for Scotland: Design for…. A PhD graduate of UAL’s Textile Futures Research Institute, her research explores social innovation in fashion and textiles to rethink future systems and practices. Jen leads design-led innovation projects, Co-Investigator role on the AHRC-funded InGAME and Design HOPES programmes. She is a Design for Planet Expert for the UK Design Council and serves on the AHRC Review College. Her internationally recognised research is widely published across design strategy and sustainability.
