Alice Demattos Guimarães

Alice Demattos Guimarães is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Copenhagen Business School, where she is part of the creAIte project examining how transformative technologies reshape creativity, value creation, and cultural policy. Trained in economics and interdisciplinary social sciences, her research spans cultural economics, creative industries, artificial intelligence, alternative finance, and cultural policy. Her work explores how cultural and creative sectors navigate technological and institutional transformation, with particular attention to ethics, inclusion, perspectives from the Global South, and governance. Alice holds a PhD in Innovation Studies from the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, where her doctoral thesis examined crowdfunding as a form of responsible innovation for the culture sector. Her research has been published in journals including Poetics, International Journal of Cultural Policy, and Journal of Arts Management, Law, and Society.
