Enrico Bertacchini is Associate Professor of Public Economics at the Department of Economics and Statistics “Cognetti de Martiis”, University of Turin, where he also serves as spokesperson for the UNESCO Chair on the Economics of Culture and Heritage. He holds a PhD in Institutions, Law and Economics and his research lies at the intersection of cultural economics, economic geography and economic policy, applying these lenses to cultural heritage, cultural and creative industries, culture-led development processes and the digital transformation of cultural organizations. His current work investigates the economics of UNESCO World Heritage designations and the spatial and organizational dynamics of the videogame industry within the GAME-ER project (Horizon Europe/UKRI).
