Dr Jonathan Jones is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at Newcastle University Business School and a Research Lead in the Internationalisation strand of Creative PEC.
His research focuses on applied econometrics in the field of foreign direct investment, crossing the disciplines of economics, regional science, geography and international business.
His multi-disciplinary work has been published in a large range of international journals and he is also the co-author of a number of books on foreign direct investment (Understanding the Location of Foreign Direct Investment; Foreign Direct Investment and the Regional Economy).Siobhan McAndrew is Senior Lecturer in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Sheffield Methods Institute, University of Sheffield. Her research interests are in quantitative methods for the study of culture, perceptions, moral values and pluralism over the very long term. She is particularly interested in the cultural bases of civic and political involvement, and culture as soft power.
