Anne Green previously worked at the Centre for Urban and Regional Development Studies (CURDS) at the University of Newcastle, the University of Cardiff and the Institute for Employment Research (IER), University of Warwick. She is an economic and population geographer by background, she has interests in regional and local labour markets, employment, skills issues – within sectors and regions, migration and commuting, urban and regional development, sectoral studies area regeneration, local economic development and policy evaluation. She has extensive experience of directing and managing research projects for research councils and foundation, government departments and agencies, and international organisations, such as the OECD.
