Creative Strategist
Anupam is a creative strategist focused on the intersection of experience design and urban innovation. Through his research and advocacy on placemaking for healthy habitats, he seeks to develop a “Conscious Cities Index”, which explores the connection between community well-being and a city’s urban design. Anupam is an avid practitioner of meditation, and initiated The Big Sit in 2020 – an intentional, slow growing social meditation movement – from Singapore.
Anupam holds a MSc in Sustainable Urban Development from the University of Oxford where his thesis – impact of the Business Improvement District on Place Management in Global Cities – received a distinction. Additionally, he has MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Delhi, India. Anupam is a trained vocalist in Hindustani Classical Music from the Prayag Sangit Samiti in India.
