The PEC’s new research focus on climate change

festival crowd sat on ground in sun

A page collecting all of our work on climate change and the creative industries.

The UK’s Creative Industries are key contributors to climate change – from fast fashion to blockchain mining – yet they are also part of the solution.

The PEC, in its role as a research centre developing evidence-based policies for the creative Industries, is announcing a new research agenda on the creative industries and climate change.

Funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), we will be undertaking new research, producing policy recommendations, and publishing blogs from experts and practitioners working in different parts of the sector, as well as building new partnerships across the creative industries.
