Rodrigo is a Research Associate within the Creative PEC research unit at Newcastle University. His research is primarily centered around quantitative analysis and policy impacts on the creative industries. Rodrigo brings experience in social network analysis and data science projects. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with a specialization in urban and regional economics. Prior to joining Creative PEC and Newcastle University, Rodrigo worked as a data scientist for technology companies and as an economist in the public sector, focusing on cultural and tourism sectors.
